In loving memory of Clayton Morehead… I have such wonderful memories as a kid going to Gramma Fern’s and Clayton’s family reunions. He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to all of his friends and family.

Hi Everyone!! Hope you are all having a great summer weekend! I’ve been having some fun. Here’s a quick recap. Thursday night we were on our way to the launch of Neil Lane and Kay Jewelers Bridal Collection and we were on Santa Monica Blvd and pulled up next to one of those Star Tours buses at a light. We all noticed each other at the same time and I smiled and waved. They were all so sweet and gave me some love but the light changed and we drove away. What a great way to head off to a party! The event, which celebrates the merging of Neil Lane and Kay Jewelers and the launch of their new collection, was a lot of fun. We were able to walk around and look at all the new jewelry and Neil loaned me a gorgeous Jade ring, bracelets and earrings to wear with my Roberto Cavalli dress. Thank you Neil!! Neil has been so supportive of me over the years so it was a pleasure to give some support back and enjoy his success! Friday, I stayed home and played Rock Band with the girls..I’m trying to get ready for Rock Band 3!! Saturday, I went shopping at this amazing baby store called Rginals for a friends baby shower. They have such interesting and fun things at this store. I got a little rock n roll onesie and a Led Zeppelin lullabies cd!! Hope she likes it! Then we went to Korean BBQ at Woo Lae Oak like old times. Sooooo Goood!! Came home and watched Step Brothers again. Hahhaaa! Today, I am watching Jersey Shore Season 1 and am going out to see the new Angelina Jolie movie “Salt.” Gotta support my girls kicking ass!!

In Honor of Memorial Day, I just called my Grandma to ask her about my Grandfather who fought in WWII’s Battle of the Bulge. She reminded me that as a child I belonged to the Gailey VFW Post and how every year, as a family, we would go to the Memorial events. While she was speaking to me, amazingly at this exact moment, 5 old warplanes flew in formation above me in the sky, as if to paint the picture that Grandma was telling me. We must remember and cherish, all the men and women soldiers who have lost their lives .
