I’ve just returned from a much-needed vacation and am happy to report that collectively we have achieved an enormous victory for whales worldwide. Concerned individuals, animal lovers, and environmental groups fought to maintain the 1982 global moratorium on commercial whaling. Against all odds, the controversial proposal that would have legalized whaling for Japan, Iceland and Norway was defeated. Many thanks! PB

Today was my last day on Salvation Blvd. It’s been a remarkable experience and a joy to work with Greg Kinnear again. He is one of those actors who just makes me laugh! This is a movie where anyone can steal a scene, which always makes for exciting work. Ann Arbor has been a wonderful refuge to us all while making this film. To everyone in Michigan who supported our endeavors, I extend my heartfelt thanks. PB

It looks like I will be spending more time in Michigan making 2 additional films following Salvation Blvd. The people of Michigan have welcomed us with open arms and we as a film community have embraced their welcome.
